ADVANCE TECHNOLOGIES

Adopting modern or advanced technological practices in areas like irrigation, hydroponics, disease and pest control, etc to maximize food production making Africa “the food basket of the world” and reducing drastically importation of food.

AGRICULTURE EDUCATION

Providing educational infrastructure for adult literacy and exchange training programmes for farmers. Provide health facilities for farmers and their families. We are open for any possible support and participation in projects bringing experienced  agronoms to the country.

STOP MIGRATION

Curbing migration by creating an avenue where emigrants will be brought back, resettle and integrated in the community to help in building a better Ghana. We are looking for fostering investments in rural areas and supporting agro-industries in Ghana, with the involvement of the governmental and private sector.

EMPLOYMENT FOR WOMEN

Women are essential to ending poverty around the world. Strengthening women’s roles as leaders, entrepreneurs, consumers and economic stakeholders will transform Ghana. For the better.

The opportunity

Green Gold Farms is going to be the largest vertically orientated, and value adding agriculture business in Ghana

Ghana’s population is expected to hit 30m people by 2020. With such a growing population without a matching increase in production, the demand for food has also increased over time.

To supplement our food production, the country has resorted to importing all kinds of food items including tomato, rice, onion, carrot, poultry products, etc. which runs into several hundreds million of USD.

We will reduce Ghana’s food import bill by 60% over the next 10 years. We are starting our project on 700 hectares.

Over a 10-year period we are going to cultivate over 800,000 hectares of farmland.

Grow.    RENEW.    Transform.     Excel.

Our mission is to move 1MM Ghanaians out of poverty in remote areas and enhance sustainability

Green Gold Farms Ltd. intends to leverage on Ghana’s geographically central location which places Ghana in a good place to serve as food basket to the West African sub-region. This combined with other equally conducive factors such as stability of government, good arable land, perfect climatic conditions, labour and a good business climate, ranked 1st in West Africa as the preferred investment destination, will ensure that the business thrives and meets investor’s expectations.

Market Opportunities

Green Gold Farms after production and aggregation would supply to various buyers under respective supply contracts. Under this arrangement, it would establish some MoU, Agreement or Contract with a prospective buyer under given set of terms and conditions. On the back of the agreements/contracts it would advise its partner farmer organization as to quantities of produce it would need for the ensuing season.

Our development

Successful future of Green Gold Farms started in 2020

In the first few months of operations GGF secured 43,000 acres land for future development.

We actively developed our organic 400 acre soybean farm in Northern Region and 40 acre maize farm in Eastern Region.

We are going to expand our arable land up to 2,000 acres.

GGF has a guaranteed purchase order for up to 5,000 MT of our organic non-GMO soybeans just in our first year of operation. If we produce more, we will sell more.

GGF seeks to become a catalyst in Ghana’s agricultural development through large scale mechanization, thereby reducing the country’s dependence on foreign food imports, creating local jobs and empowering local communities through training, education and profit sharing.
